Administration
Your own logo, wordmark and accent colour
An organization can replace the mark in the portal sidebar and choose the accent colour used for links, buttons and the keyboard focus ring. Colours that would not stay visible against both the light and dark themes are refused rather than accepted and rendered badly.
Administration
Email when a voicemail arrives, and a setting to stop it
Everyone whose role lets them listen to voicemail is now emailed when a message finishes recording, with the transcript when one is ready. Each person can switch it off for themselves. Security and billing email cannot be switched off, and the page says which those are.
Administration
Two-factor authentication for agents
Any agent can protect their own account with an authenticator app. Turning it on or off ends every open session, including the one that made the change, so a stolen session cannot outlive the decision.
Call flows
The flow builder can be operated entirely from the keyboard
Every action on the flow canvas that had a drag now has a keyboard path: placing a block, connecting two, moving one, and deleting. Building a call flow no longer requires a mouse.
Site
A section that shows the product
Four pages, one per subsystem (call flows, queues, calls and access), each built from the application’s own strings rather than a screenshot, so what you read is what the software says.
Site
Ten articles on Quebec’s Law 25 and Law 96, in both languages
Written because the questions they answer (what a phone system has to do about recording consent, breach notice and French-language service) had no phone-system vendor answering them in either language.
Site
The site moved off the application’s infrastructure
Ringfully.com is now served separately from the portal and the API. It stays up when the application is scaled down, and deploying one no longer interrupts the other.
Call flows
Opening hours moved inside the call flow
Hours are set per set of doors rather than once per organization, so a business with two locations can answer differently at each. Each set carries its own switch for when something is wrong right now, which outranks both the schedule and the holiday list.
Call flows
Named queues, and what a caller hears while waiting
Sales, Support and Billing can be separate queues over one team, with their own priority and their own required skills. Each can play its own flow to the people waiting in it, including the offer of a callback.
Call flows
A flow builder, and an interpreter that runs what you drew
Call flows are authored on a canvas and executed by Ringfully rather than handed to a third party. Publishing freezes a version, and a call already in progress finishes on the version it started with.
Calling
A softphone in the browser, beside the desktop app
An organization can choose either. Both carry the same call controls: hold, blind and consult transfer, merging a consult into a conference, and muting, holding or removing any single participant.
Administration
Roles, and a recording policy that belongs to the organization
Permissions are granted individually rather than by a single admin-or-not switch, and organizations can author their own roles. Whether calls are recorded is now decided once for the organization instead of per agent, per call.
